Jacoby Perez graduated from the University of California, San Diego in 2011 with a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science, consistently receiving academic honors during his tenure.
Jacoby is an Inland Empire native and actively served both San Bernardino and Riverside County prior to attending law school at the University of San Diego, School of Law. He worked for the San Bernardino County School District developing novel programs to improve county-wide literacy and assisted with the creation of programs securing employment for high school graduates at local businesses. Jacoby also worked at the Law Offices of the Public Defender in Riverside County where he continued to serve as a law clerk once entering law school.
Jacoby graduated from the University of San Diego, School of Law in 2015 with a concentration in Intellectual Property. While in law school, Jacoby clerked at Elia Law Offices in Riverside doing criminal defense. Jacoby then interned at the Lares Institute in San Diego studying the impact of cutting-edge new technologies on the law. He dealt with major issues like data collection practices and breach, Fourth Amendment search and seizure rights, and the changing nature of “invasion of privacy” torts.
Jacoby also worked as a post-bar fellow for the Privacy Rights Clearinghouse composing guides on health privacy law under HIPPA, GINA, and the CMIA.
Jacoby returned to the Inland Empire and joined Garcia Reed & Ramirez LLP as an associate in September 2017.« Back to Attorneys Page
